Acceptance of terms
By using this site, calling 416-436-3182, emailing info@appliancescitywide.com, or booking a repair, you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
How service works
Appliances City Wide is a direct repair service, not a lead-distribution platform. When you book a repair, Rob or a GTA technician we've personally trained performs the work. One number, one team, one set of terms.
Service warranty
Every repair is covered by a 1-year parts-and-labour warranty, included at no extra charge. If the same issue recurs within 12 months of the original repair, we come back and fix it at no cost. There is no call-out fee on booked jobs and every repair is quoted in writing before any work starts.
Cancellation + rescheduling
Cancel or reschedule a booked visit up to two hours before the arrival window without charge. Less than two hours' notice may incur a small fee to cover the reserved slot.
Limitation of liability
Our maximum liability for any repair is limited to the amount paid for that repair. We're not liable for consequential damages (for example, food spoilage during a refrigerator fault) except where Ontario law requires otherwise.
Dispute resolution
Any dispute about a repair should be raised first by calling 416-436-3182 so we can make it right. Unresolved disputes are governed by Ontario law and the courts of Ontario.
Consumer Protection Act (Ontario)
We follow the Ontario Consumer Protection Act: firm written quote before work, itemised receipt after, and honest disclosure if the repair cost approaches the replacement cost of the appliance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at /terms/. Material changes are noted with a “last updated” line at the bottom of the page.
